About Linda PorterLinda Porter is a powerful and passionate gospel music singer/writer who loves the Lord with her whole heart. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she started singing at the tender age of four. At just fourteen years old, she was given the task to assist with directing the youth choir of her childhood church in which she started indulging in the joys of singing gospel music. A few years later she would hold the title as “Minister of music” at age 21 being the youngest person to have such a great task for the music department of her then home church. Linda held that position for almost two years when she decided to pursue her music ministry.
Linda has ministered at many different churches all over the Tri-State area; she has also ministered at churches in Maryland and even overseas in Jamaica and England! She has also song with many groups/Choirs such as "Adoration" of Flatbush SDA Church in Brooklyn, New York, Unity Mass Choir, and The 3ABN Ensemble , and Temple Praise of Kingsboro Temple SDA Church in Brooklyn, New York just to name a few.
The PassionWhen asked, "Why do you love to sing?" She replied, "Singing is my passion and I have fallen in love with gospel music; it is my life and it tells a story of life. Singing is a gift from God that I use to glorify him only and minister to his people. My goal is to save lives through my music ministry. I cannot see my life any other way!"
